Africa

Just a quick note to let you know that I am leaving for Africa for two weeks on Thursday January 31st, and I won’t be back until the 19th.  My husband and sister and I are going to a place called the Village of Hope to help build a school and dorms for children.  I have no access to the internet or a phone, but I do have someone checking my emails while I’m away, Please be patient if you don’t get a reply right away,  I will do my best to contact everyone who emails me as quickly as I can when I return home.

Thanks so much,

Heather

Annie & Jeff

What a cute couple, I had lots of fun doing an engagement session with Jeff and Annie.  We went to ACC, and then to his Aunt’s gorgeous house where we also did a couple of shots with their dog Nelly, she is so cute with her big sad eyes.

Hope Floats

I was lucky enough to photograph a group of ladies who are quite a wild and crazy bunch!!  They are gathering recipes for a cookbook to honour those who have had to battle cancer.  This is a fundraiser for their Relay for Life team “Hope Floats” led by the fearless Lori Main.  We did a group photo shoot for in their cookbook.  The cookbooks are planned to be out this spring, if anyone is interested in ordering one please let me know, and I will put you in contact with the right people.  Last I heard there are over 1000 recipes, and they are all different recipes, (I know because I had to resubmit one, because they wanted no duplicates!!) which is great, it will be full of the good tried, tested, and true recipes that people actually cook.

Tracy & Yvan

Another winter engagement session.  We went up to Adam Lake and used their skating pond, and the cross country ski trails.  It is so beautiful up there.  We were there on Christmas holidays, so there were lots of family’s out enjoying the nice weather.  Tracy & Yvan were such a fun couple to work with.  Before the shoot was over they had both ended up in the snow bank!!

Nicole & Ken

Wow, I am a little bit behind on my posting.  I thought I had put up Nicole & Ken’s engagement photos, but it doesn’t look like I did.  (Sorry guys!!!)  Here they are, we had some fun out in the snow, and everyone toughed out the cold.  It was a whole family event which was fun, they even brought their chocolate lab!!!
